Elena graduated from Stetson University in 2023 with a B.S. degree in chemistry. She is from Winter Park, Florida. She is an avid reader, and her favorite genre is mystery novels. In the Zeng group, Elena is exploring the solvothermal synthesis of energy materials.

Ajay graduated from Indian Institute of Science Education and Research TVM with an integrated B.S.-M.S. degree in Chemistry (major) and Physics (minor). In the Zeng group, Ajay is developing advanced solid electrolyte materials in an automated lab.

Dr. He obtained her Ph.D. at Missouri University of Science and Technology and had her postdoctoral training at Tsinghua University. Her research focuses on using computation to design fast-charging and high-energy-density battery materials.

Emily is currently an undergraduate student at FSU  majoring in chemistry and minoring in Chinese. In her free time, she enjoys playing video games and reading. In the Zeng group, Emily is focused on extraction and recovery of critical minerals.

Kayla is an undergraduate student at FSU pursing a degree in Biochemistry. She is also a teaching assistant for General Chemistry Lab. In the Zeng group, Kayla is designing electrolytes for solid-state batteries.

Tommy is a high school student from Orlando, FL. He enjoys listening to music and playing video games. Tommy is interested in engineering as well as computer science, and provides assistance throughout the lab. (YSP2024)

Josh is a rising senior at Lawton Chiles High school. He is interested in robotics and mechatronics as well as applied math. In his free time, Josh enjoys playing soccer, tennis and playing video games. (YSP2024)

Zoe is a high school student currently going into her junior year. She is from Tallahassee, Florida and enjoys sailing, rowing, drawing, and her pets. She is interested in physics, mathematics as well as molecular biology. (YSP2024)
